I2Sports requirements for watching webcasts:

i2sports uses proprietary Tandem Multimedia Simulcast (TMS) technology to combine the traditional media of print, radio and television into an immersive fourth medium over the Internet.

To experience the full impact of TMS, we recommend the following minimum system configuration:

System:
PC with Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system.
400 MHz Pentium II with 64 MBytes of RAM.

Software:
Windows Media Player 6.4 set-up as follows: View - Options - Advanced - Streaming Media (Windows Media) - Change - enable Multicasting, UDP, TCP and HTTP. Enabling HTTP permits streaming through proxy servers and firewalls.
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.

Internet connection:
To achieve near-TV quality of 320 x 240 pixels of 30 frames per second requires a data rate of at least 384 kbps. This rate exceeds the capacity of dial-up modems and requires one of the following:
Cable modem;
T1 line;
DSL modem with 384 kbps download speed; or
campus Ethernet connection (56K phone modem is an order of magnitude too slow, and will give audio only)

Frequently-Asked Questions:
QI have a 56K dial-up modem. Will I get any video?
AProbably not. You may only get audio.

QCan I receive your webcasts on a Mac?
APossibly. We have heard that several people have succeeded in viewing our webcasts on Mac's. Unfortunately, we do not have the expertise to assist Mac users.

QCan I view your webcasts on a Netscape browser?
ASometimes. Since Microsoft Windows Media is native to the Microsoft Windows operating system, we have optimized our web pages for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Some pages may not load properly on Netscape.

QI have DSL. How come the stream in jumpy and choppy?
ADSL comes at several different download speeds: 128K, 256K, 384K, 768K etc... Check with our ISP on your download capacity. You need at least 384K to receive our webcasts. Feedback and support:
